BOTZ Glazes are Lead Free.

Each of the Botz products supplied by Ceramic Art Cart, have been independantly reviewed, tested and approved by a US Board Certified Toxicologist in accordance with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission's (CPSC) guideline at 16 CFR 1500.14(b)8 Labeling of Hazardous Art Materials Act (Lhama) and the criteria outlined in ASTM D-4236 for Chronic toxicity.  The carcinogenicity, reproductive hazard, neurotoxicity, bioavailability and potential exposures were considered, as was the relevant data from the National Toxicology Program and the International Agency for Research on Cancer to assess any need for chronic health hazard warnings. 

Each BOTZ PLUS and the BOTZ Glaze jar is labelled in accordance with ASTM D-4236 (LHAMA) as APPROVED by Infotox International, Inc. No chronic health hazard warning is necessary. This review will be updated every five years or upon reformulation, in accordance with CPSC regulations.  Each Botz Jar proudly displays the Approved seal below.
