A Very Important Fact About Botz Glazes:

All Botz Glazes are highly concentrated and economical. Testing has shown that 200mls of Botz Glaze is equal to about 300ml of other leading US brands of liquid glaze. Each 6.76oz/200ml jar of our brush on glaze equals 12.6oz to 1.0lb mixed powder glaze.

All Botz Stoneware glazes mix well together. Create a palette as unique as your work! The glaze colors in this online catalogue may differ somewhat from the real life samples. Generally online colors appear duller than actual glazes. If you like them here, you are going to LOVE them when you see them!
Available in 6.76oz/200ml jars. For stronger colors and maximum surface quality, simply apply 2-3 coats. The glaze will not run off.

Firing

2230ºF-2335ºF/1220ºC-1280ºC, Cone 8-9.
The idea firing temperature is 2280ºF/1250ºC, CONE 8 with a 30 minute soak. Do not glaze the bases, do not put stoneware objects on stilts. The range of glazes is well suited for the highest quality ceramics and tableware, due to it's high resistance to chemical and mechanical influences and absolute sealing qualities.
