PC Substrates can be used with a huge range of art mediums including but not limited to oil paints, acrylic paints, conte, watercolors, encaustics, inks, colored pencils, charcoal, pastels, decals, permanent markers, oil pastels, mono printing, screen printing, graphite pencils and much much more!

For loose pigments such as charcoal and pastels, simply spray with an artists fixative upon completion to waterproof your artwork!
For more examples of non-ceramic artwork produced on this material please see the "Substrates in Schools" page on this site for some terrific works of art produced by elementary school students using paints, permanent markers and colored pencils.

"An amazing new material that opens up an inexhaustible range of  potential for the graphically capable artist. Just about anything that you can do on paper, canvas, card, board  or vellum can be done on these substrates. The major difference is that the result is waterproof, washable, and permanent."
