The Skutt Glaze Tech Kiln was designed by Skutt Kilns specifically for our PC Substrates Material! Robin Hopper requested an economical cone ten kiln to fire his glaze paintings in - which are painted on Ceramic Art Cart's PC Substrates, and Skutt came up with the perfect solution!

Unlike most test kilns, the SKUTT GlazeTech Kiln is designed to run on 240V but still only requires a 20Amp breaker*  This gave Skutt the power they needed to design a truly useful chamber size.

It's 14" square design makes it perfect to fire Ceramic Art Cart's PC Substrates on multiple levels and with its 9" depth you can also test short cylinders to see how your glaze performs on a vertical surface.

The GlazeTech kiln is a wonderful addition to any studio. Fire your glaze tests and small scale work economically. Why wait to fill a larger kiln when you can reduce your turnaround time and save power - with the GlazeTech?
